This is a completely different capybara family.
Look at how many babies they have!
That’s not even all of them.
That one on the left didn’t seem to like hanging out with the others.
They were pretty sleepy.

They were pretty sleepy.
The baby capybaras went for a swim.
They stick close to Mom in the water too.
Because Kerri is scary.
They think she might be a secret jaguar.
But probably not.
They tell secrets to Mom too.
Yes the birds were there too.
The capybaras tell a lot of secrets in the bath.
They have to keep really close together.
And ride on a grown up’s back if possible.
The cormorants looked funny trying to dry their wings in the wind.
They were bobbing up and down, surfing on the branches.
They were often in the water but flew away when our boat got close.

So we have a lot of pictures of cormorant butts taking off.

Haven’t you always wanted to see bird butts?

This one is kind of from the side so you can see his face

But this one is all butt.

Bye bye birdie.

That wasn’t enough baby capybaras.
Look at how tiny their feet are compared to Mom’s!
Look at them sniffing the flowers!
And scratching their itches.
Some itches are harder to scratch.
You need to see the feet from behind.
And baby capybaras sitting.
And staring.
And more sitting.
What would you do if you couldn’t see them sitting more than once.
Now they’re lying down.
Lazy baby capybaras.
But they’re not always lazy.
Sometimes they are hopping.
But they’re always cute.
Capybara have babies!
All the time, because they are rodents.
They are even cuter than big capybara.
They have trouble keeping up with Mom.
Especially when she goes through big fences.
They also look like they don’t care about anything.
But they’re even cuter doing it.
Did we mention they’re cute?
Oh who am I kidding, Matt has nothing to do with this.
If Matt was in charge this post would have an end.
Which would make you sad, wouldn’t it?
Last time we were limited to about 10 pictures per post before it crashed.
I thought we might be able to do more now.
But it turns out this is about the limit.
