This is Bella.
Matt’s Mom named her.
She is 14 years old.
And has cataracts.
But she’s still pretty agile.
She does not like bugs.
But neither do we.
She’s pretty easy to spot up in the tree.

Jenny decided she didn’t really like eating grass.
So she went up on a tree to look for caiman.
I would have been scared if I was a caiman.
But I probably wouldn’t have seen her.
She looked at the water intently.
But she didn’t see anything.
She kept looking though.
Sometimes she got excited.
But she never found breakfast.
Oh well.

More Giant River Otters
The giant river otters were always moving.
Sometimes scratching.
Or splashing.
Or rolling.
They made a lot of squeaky sounds.
They are very cute.
Sometimes they went up on the shore.
But never for long.
They like to splash.

This is Fast.
The girls named her too.
She didn’t move that fast while we were watching her.
She was stalking.
No need to run until you find the yummy caiman.
She went down.
Into the water
And then back up again.
So her belly was all drippy.
And then more stalking on the land.
