This temple is the largest, as in tallest, in the Bagan area.
It has several large paintings from the time when the temple was originally built.
We’re not sure what this is a painting of, but it is very colourful.
The big disks in the ears are to widen the ear lobes. It is quite common in Myanmar art and some communities still do it today.
It wouldn’t be a temple without a Buddha. Here there are several, some painted on the wall and others sitting.
We aren’t sure how reclining like this would be comfortable on the toes.
Not all the paintings were finished.
You could still see the guidelines from when they drew the picture.
There were many cool looking guardians on the outside of this temple as well.
Even though it is the tallest, most of the space isn’t used at all.
It was still a very cool looking building.
