  • Natural History Museum of Ethiopia

This museum is very small. It just has preserved samples of all of the local wildlife. So Kerri got a preview of what we’ll be searching for the next two months.

Yes, we are really in Africa now.

This is why we got rabies shots.

There are two types of hyenas. The spotted hyena is a pretty respectable looking animal.

    image

The striped hyena somehow manages to look even nastier than the Lion King villains.

Pumba looks much less friendly than in the Lion King.

I think they should redo the movie starring a clawless otter. He is much cuter. And less scary. He doesn’t even have claws.

And a caracal. It doesn’t look like it wants to eat me.

They have lots of birds that don’t look like they want to eat me.

But their ravens look even nastier than the Fort McMurray ones.

They have two types of zebra in Ethiopia. But we aren’t actually going to get outside of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. And I think there are other kinds where we are going.

We will be staying away from the water.

The location for this mirror was poorly chosen.
