We did a day trip to the White Temple. It was not what we expected.
It was like a giant modern art piece that is still being constructed.
I don’t quite get all the meanings.
Struggle I guess.
It reminds me of scenes from anime.
And of course if there is an unreachable place with a container it will have coins tossed into it.
In pictures from further away it isn’t clear what gives highlights to the pieces. Up close you can see they have thousands of pieces of glass/mirrors.
Inside the temple photos are not allowed. The walls are painted with decorations including:
- Batman
- Neo from the Matrix
- A minion
- Superman
- Spiderman
- Hello Kitty
- A Missile launcher
- A Wristwatch
- A 90s cell phone
- A Volcano
- Elvis
- An angry bird
- Kung Fu Panda
- A space shuttle wrapped in Dragon tongue
You think we are making this up, but we really aren’t that creative.
At the front of the temple is a life sized very realistic and creepy wax sculpture of the Buddha mediating sitting under a gold meditating Buddha and a white Buddha.
For $1 you could buy one of these little foil thingies and write your name on it with a sharpie.
The walkway roof was lined with these things tightly packed, and there were several trees like this.
It was quite the experience. 
But then you see stuff like this and are confused as to what is going on. I mean sure the predator is cool, but why is it here.
And faces of wolverine and maleficent hanging from a tree.
