Tobogganing the Alps

We did ski 13 more lifts today, (8 new ones) but the mountains still look like mountains, and everyone must be getting tired of these pictures. We know you’re only here for the wipeouts, and we seem to be pretty good at staying on our skis.

image

So we took some time off skiing to rest our legs and relax by tobogganing down the mountain. On a 4km long toboggan run with a 450m altitude change.

imageThus guaranteeing you some wipeouts.

image

See Kerri calmly riding down the mountain.

image

Whoosh.

image

Matt tries to whoosh as well.

image

It doesn’t go as well.

image

Matt’s got is all figured out now. No hands required.

image

Okay maybe some hands.

image

Should have used all the hands.

image

Less whoosh and more smash.

image

And crash.

image

All the while Kerri continues to whoosh by.

image

See the majestic Kerri in action and live Matt’s experience.

Note: Kerri has several bruises, including one the size of an orange, that suggest that she also wiped out. Possibly even more often than Matt. But Matt is really bad at catching her on camera.

One Response to Tobogganing the Alps

  1. Oh so funny! Looks like you were having a blast. The crash video really shares the experience (without the bruises)
