The penguins have a good view from their bathtub.

They are very excited to get in

So they can splish and splash

This is a splish

And this is a splash

Can you tell the difference?

It’s really easy

Everyone knows

That splishes

Come before splashes

OK, bath time is over

Goodbye.

Kerri thought she was done with the penguin pictures

But it turns out she missed the ones Matt took

And just because she’s a whole 10 weeks behind posting pictures

Doesn’t mean that you don’t get to see every single penguin picture

Even the ones where the only thing in focus is a penguin butt.

Matt took that, don’t blame me!

But he also got a penguin fixing her rock nest

And you wouldn’t want to miss that

Besides, penguin butts are cute

At least when they’re feather covered

What are you looking at?

The magellanic penguins hang out on the coast of penguin island.

There are a lot of them

But not all of those are penguins, some are cormorants.

They don’t understand why the penguins get all the attention. They have pretty blue eyes and can fly.

But the penguins are cuter

And they know it.

So they get all the attention.

The penguins like to swim

But they just kind of bellyflop

So they look pretty silly in the water.

They are much more dignified on the land

Snoozing.

The Gentoo Penguins mostly get along

Except when they don’t

They can be grumpy

Really grumpy

Sometimes an annoying neighbour gives a speech when you’re trying to sleep

Or waves his butt right in your face

Loudly

But for the most part, the penguins were just laying around

Keeping their eggs warm

One of them got up to check on the eggs

You can see the hole where the egg was.

But no babies yet

That’s too bad

But the grown ups are still cute.
