  • Clouded Leopard Cubs

    Kerri’s favourites are the clouded leopard cubs.

    There are two of them.

    Their tongues always seem to be wavy.

    They love each other lots.

    Some of the time.

    Matt doesn’t think you want to see blurry pictures of kittens.

    Which rules out all of the action shots.

    They were very acrobatic

    And good at hanging around.

    They are ferocious leaf hunters.

    Back to stalking.

    They are very curious.

    They are about the size of housecats but seem weirdly proportioned.

    And they have very big paws.

    Did I mention that they are super cute?

  • Cheetah Cubs

    The cheetah cubs lie around all day too.

    But then so does their mom.

    Cubs are kind of annoying.

    They mostly just want food.

    Having quintuplets is a bad idea.

    They are very long already.

    And they all have funny hairdos.

    They seem to be very flexible and lazy.

    It is hard to get more than half of them looking at you at the same time.

  • Solar Eclipse

    Today the moon passed in front of the sun.

    It looked a lot like a slightly orange crescent moon.

    Then it made a frowny face.

    The shadows got slightly more crescent shaped.

    Kerri made slightly crescenty shadow puppets with the camera tucked under her arm because she forgot the tripod.

    Fortunately Toronto has lots of crazy people, so no one cared.

    Matt watched from his fancy break room.

    Then the moon started to leave.

  • Inflatable 5K Round 2

    We did the inflatable 5K again this year.

    The weather was much nicer than last year.

    The obstacles were big and bouncy.

    And slidey.

    We bounced through them.

    Then we rested.

    Then we actually ran for a little bit.

    And then we bounced our way down

    To the finish line.
