This museum full of ships was more interesting than it sounds.

We took a brief break from London and headed out to Greenwich to check out the observatory. It sits on a hill so we had a quick rest before checking out the Prime Meridian.

Everyone has the picture of themselves standing on either side of the meridian. We took a different approach headed down into the park and lined ourselves up with the marker above. This is the furthest we’ve ever been apart, whole hemispheres in this case. (This had nothing to do with the ridiculous line and cost to see a metal bar embedded into the ground.)

The observatory was a very interesting building and we checked out the science exhibits inside.

Here’s Kerri petting the Earth’s oldest pet rock.

This was a wall of all the official measurement, both time and distances. Kerri’s foot isn’t quite kingly enough.

And what better way to top it off than street noodles. Sadly there was no more shrimp, but the food was still great.
