We decided to go on the Hornblower cruise to get closer to the front of the falls.

First we had to climb way down to the river.

Then Matt donned the bright red tourist regalia. Kerri again refused.

Then we headed down the river toward the falls.

Before we even got to the observation tower there was enough mist in the air to make rainbows.

So maybe the inflatable tourist regalia was a good idea.

First the boat goes by the bridal veil falls.

The dissolved limestone and clay and air make gross foam in the water.

There is also a lot of mist.

Underneath all the mist it just looks like a river.

There is a walkway on the American side where it looks like the tourist regalia would be a good idea.

If only to protect you from all the bird poop.

Then the boat went right up to the bottom of the main falls.

It was wet.

But Kerri still refused.

Then we went back past the falls.

Kerri was a little bit wet.
