In Etosha we got our best look at a black rhino.
Black rhinos can lift their heads higher because they eat bushes and trees instead of grass.
They can also look right at you and smile with their funny hooked lip.
Their long necks are more flexible than their white cousins.
There are white rhinos, like the one we saw up close.
They have a big hump on their neck right behind the ears, so they can’t lift their heads very far, which is OK because they eat grass.
This is another black rhino.
