Copan has new temples built on top of old temples too,
So you have to go underground to see the older stuff.

This is the Rosalita Temple.
It once looked like this.
But now it is underground and lost most of its colour.
It’s hard to even figure out what part you’re looking at.
But it still has lots of carved decorations
And writing.
You just have to wander around underground to see it.
Statues look creepy when you stick a flashlight under their face, just like people do.
Yay for tunnels.
