The spoonbills are pink.
They are funny looking.
They are even more funny looking when flying away.
Which they did a lot. Apparently they don’t like us.
We had stone crabs for brunch today. They were delicious. The shells are so thick they feel like ceramic.
This is a nearly whole stone crab shell. The fishermen only harvest one claw. The crabs are released to grow their claws back.
The restaurant had a wonderful view.
We could see lots of birds across the estuary.
We dumped our shells right back into the water they came out of.
This attracted lots of fish. And a shark that chased the fish, but we didn’t have the camera out for that.
