There’s a new baby golden lion tamarin at the zoo.

His Dad wears him like a backpack.

Mom checks on him once in a while and feeds him when he’s hungry.

But most of the time he’s just a backpack.

You can’t even see him when Dad’s mane is facing you.

The mane sticks out funny where the baby is grabbing it.

He has to cling very tight because Dad moves around a lot.

You can’t see his little face very often.

Most of the time you can only see his back.

Because he hides his face in Dad’s fur.

He is very shy.
