Walking in the Amazon means walking on very deep piles of nothing but rotting leaves.
And a whole lot of bugs
And vines
This tree is just a termite mound support now.
Even in the dry season parts of the forest are flooded
But we only had to cross a little stream
With a big step
Unfortunately the vines aren’t strong enough to swing on like Tarzan
But it was still no problem
We found the skin of a giant snake
Which was totally worth it!
