Note: This is being posted 5 years later because Kerri and Matt apparently got lazy at this part of the trip and there is a big gap between Jordan and Christmas with no posts.
We took a tour to drive a Trabant, which was a “car” made in East Germany during the Cold War.

There was a bright pink one.

But the one we got was giraffe print.

It was not very comfortable.

But we kind of fit.

The back seat was worse.

But from there the front seat looks relatively spacious.

Until Matt actually gets into driving position.

Matt had to drive because he at least knows how to shift in a normal car.

This was weirder.

Especially with your knees in the way.

But he figured it out.

We went on a tour around Berlin.

This is the inside of the “car”

And the bottom of the “car”.

Positive note: no one died or was injured during this tour. Matt did have to ocassionally hit the gas in order to prevent the “car” from going into a stall. He also remembers nothing of the actual tour as driving a “car” in an unknown city with knees in the steering column is likely not a good idea.

When we did the Trabi tour we got a bright pink car. It didn’t make it out of the parking lot. We went through 3 “cars” in 1 tour. It was fun though!
