The Adventures of Kerri & Matt

The pyramid of the moon sticks out of the desert.

They had colourful artifacts

They buried people with cinnabar on the shrouds which turned the bones red.

They also buried people with tooth necklaces, but the teeth aren’t even real.

People used to live here

But now only rough scaled lizards live here

And they think it was built just for them

Are you going to argue with them?

Really?

I thought so!

The pyramid of the moon is shaped like the mountain behind it

Unlike the pyramid of the sun, which is too steep.

Teotihuacan is big

And ruined

Matt is standing over a snake

See the forked tongue

This big steppy pyramid was built right in front of another pyramid

So the only way to see the other pyramid is to climb up and down its steep steps

The front of the other pyramid is very impressive

With lots of carvings

These ones are Kerri’s favouriite

Because they’re cute

The holes in the eyes probably once had glass in them to glint in the sun

The pyramid in front makes a good viewing platform.
