The Jabiru’s skin pouches are all veiny

But the adults are kind of cute from further away.

The adults search for food on the ground.

For their babies.

Then they fly it up to the nest

And land

Carefully

And share the food.

They have a lot of big babies

So they need a lot of food.

There is a rope set up to bring the plastic bucket of fruit into this wooden bucket of fruit for the monkeys.

The monkeys like to help with the rope.

The fruit would probably come faster without their help.

Because with their help they have to be careful not to give the monkeys rope burn.

When the fruit is in the barrel, the howlers mostly scare away the capuchins.

So the capuchins have to quickly grab everything they can and run.

Before there’s a barrel of monkeys

Then they sit on the side watching for another opportunity.

While eating their fistfuls of course

When the barrel is empty they lick it out

Which can’t be great for their fur

It’s easy to tell which monkey was in the barrel

She will never look dignified again

No matter how hard she tries.

Fruit is messy.
