Overview
1953 Vincent Black Shadow Series C 998cc. The Ultimate Classic British Motorcycle! This is an all-correct numbers machine with original stampings as verified by a Vincent expert with its original registration number (PTJ 17).
This beautifully presented Black Shadow has been fully restored over a two-year period to tip-top condition. No expense was spared on the quality of the work and parts in the process of the build as can be seen in the photos and video.
JMC Classics, the Vincent specialists in the UK handled the restoration. This classic motorcycle has been completely rebuilt to original specifications using new Vincent parts. Restoration photos will be provided to the new owner.
Comes complete with a current V5C, Original RF60 buff logbook. (This is the original logbook with which this bike left the factory.) It would be very difficult to find another original fully restored Shadow in this fabulous condition. This is certainly the best currently available in the market available and it is a must for any serious collection. A great blue-chip investment!
MILEAGE: 1 KM showing on a working and completely rebuilt clock, reset to 0 at restoration.
PAINT: Black, perfect condition, repainted during the restoration by a quality shop. Decals correct for this motorcycle.
SHEET METAL: All sheet metal is factory original and very well fit. No dings or dents. Aluminum fenders are polished to a high sheen. During restoration.
CHROME: Every single part of the restored bike is new or restored.
MECHANICAL: This exquisite motorcycle starts very easily and is smooth through the gears. All engine parts are correct and professionally set up.
