Coupled with its dipole 5 dBi antenna and featuring an RP-SMA antenna male connector, the USB receiver can either be plugged directly into a computer running the Windows 10 operating system to extend the Wi-Fi signal available to that computer only, or can be used in conjunction with the R36A to create your Wi-Fi hotspot and share your connection with other nearby Wi-Fi-enabled computers and other devices simultaneously.
