It mounts to any 2X standard awning mounts and swings your shower awning away from your vehicle. It uses a gas strut from our hinge kits to help open it quickly while a plunger pin locks it into place for travel. We use a fully boxed rear beam and a full length 3 8" stainless steel hinge pin to keep the sag out. This is the strongest shower arm out there.
