Position
Ice Sticks thrives in full sun to partial shade, performing best in well-drained, sandy, or rocky soil. It is highly drought-tolerant and suitable for coastal gardens, xeriscaping, or areas with poor soil conditions. Hardy to light frost, it is ideal for temperate and subtropical climates.
Growth
This fast-growing succulent reaches a mature height of 10–15 cm with a spread of 30–60 cm, forming a dense, trailing habit. Its unique icy-blue foliage provides a striking visual contrast in mixed plantings, rock gardens, or as an accent in containers and hanging baskets.
Planting Guide
Senecio 'Ice Sticks' grows best in well-drained soil, such as sandy or cactus mixes. Plant in spring or autumn, spacing plants about 30 cm apart for ground cover. For container planting, use a high-quality succulent mix and position the container in a sunny or semi-shaded spot. Water thoroughly after planting and avoid water pooling around the roots.
Plant Care
