When Campagnolo came out with the latest single chainring grouppo they choose to use a lockring to attach the chainring which needs a specific tool. While they could have manufactured the tool in house they choose to focus on making the parts and leave the tools to us. This tool is specifically made for use with modern Campagnolo crank lockrings found on their power meter cranks for 13spd and the new single chainring Super Record X (SRX). The socket is built to engage the 4 prong lockring on these cranks that retains the chainring or spider. The tool features a dual drive giving the technician the option of using a box end wrench (19mm or 3/4") or a 3/8" square drive for use with a torque wrench. The tool slips over the crank axle using it as a pilot to ensure good tool engagement.
