The 12AU7 PREAMP is specifically designed for acoustic guitars, especially those with piezo pickups, with the goal of making the signal sound like an actual guitar. Let the audience hear what you hear! No more phony brightness, but rather a much more natural presentation with enough tone control range to dial in your desired sound.

A JFET input stage offers up very high input impedance for improved bottom end when connected to piezo directly. The XLR output (for PA) is galvanically isolated to minimize hum and buzz while on stage (ground lift button on side). Let vacuum tube magic warm up your sound! This always-on pedal works great for synth and bass too.

I was inspired to design this pedal to help local artists (Kimokeo, Peterson, Na Leo, Kapono) achieve a more life-like sound in concert.
