gravel bike colnago Colnago G4-X SRAM Force XPLR 1x13 | Vision SC45The G4 X is the new Colnago designed for gravel racing. This model replaces the G3 X, using the best of what the Cambiago based brand has learned from its extensive off road experience in cyclocross and, in road racing, with the V Series bicycles the carbon monocoque machines made for the UAE Emirates and UAE ADQ WorldTour Teams. The G4 X is the culmination of Colnagos off road heritage, which in cyclocross has dominated and won everything possible.

The G4-X is the new Colnago designed for gravel racing. This model replaces the G3-X, using the best of what the Cambiago-based brand has learned from its extensive off-road experience in cyclocross and, in road racing, with the V-Series bicycles — the carbon monocoque machines made for the UAE Emirates and UAE ADQ WorldTour Teams.

The G4-X is the culmination of Colnago’s off-road heritage, which in cyclocross has dominated and won everything possible. Some of the brand's most notable victories include those of Sven Nys, winner of six CX World Championships, and Wout Van Aert, who won two off-road World Championships riding Colnago frames.

The concept of the G4-X is directly derived from the V4Rs, the bicycle used by the UAE Emirates and UAE ADQ teams in the WorldTour. The two models share the same design philosophy and aesthetic identity. The V4Rs was created as the perfect balance of everything a professional rider needs — and the same is true for the G4-X: the optimal harmony of all characteristics required to win on dirt roads.

Perfect Balance of Elements
It's easy to define a bicycle by a single number — the most aerodynamic, the stiffest, the lightest… Yet, in the end, no single number defines the riding experience.

The G4-X is the result of optimizing all the essential factors that matter when racing or pushing hard on gravel:

  • Handling
  • Lightness
  • Robustness
  • Aerodynamics
  • Stability
  • Frame responsiveness
  • Tire clearance

The nominal tire clearance has increased from 40 mm (previous G3-X) to 45 mm. The G4-X is available with a standard two-piece stem + handlebar setup or with Colnago’s Integrated CC.01 Carbon Cockpit (Wide version as standard), while the road version is also compatible.
Since the fork steerer tube is a traditional 1 1/8”, the frame remains widely compatible with third-party solutions.

Integrated Handlebar Solution — CC.01 Wide
The Colnago CC.01 Wide offers greater flare than its road counterpart — 3 cm per side instead of 1 cm. Like the standard version, it is a carbon monocoque, delivering considerable weight savings and improved stiffness.

It features a 72.5 mm reach, 120 mm drop, and an 82° stem-to-bar angle.

Mounting Points
The G4-X features four riveted mounting points: two in the traditional bottle cage positions inside the front triangle, one under the down tube, and one on the top tube.

The frame supports any electronic groupset, whether single or double chainring, and is compatible with UDH — the universal derailleur hanger standard developed by SRAM.

Great looking wrist rest but lacks strong grip
The walnut wood looks and feels great and gives my desk setup a more premium look. The dimensions are as described on the product page. I have no doubt this wrist rest will last a long time given how solid and well made it is. The only downside is that it tends to move around a bit more than my old silicon wrist rest. The grip on the bottom isn’t as strong so I find myself readjusting it occasionally when gaming. Overall, recommended.

Very classy looking! Perfect height and length for TKL keyboards!
This wrist rest is the perfect height and length for my TKL keyboards! The wood is soft and smooth. It looks VERY classy compared to some of the wrist rests I've used in the past. The non-slip pads work great too. The only thing I could find that was wrong is that the logo is upside down. It's not visible though because it's the edge that meets the keyboard so it's never seen. I find it endearing actually! Everything else is perfect, so I'd definitely recommend!

Classy look, but finish issue
This walnut wrist rest looks great on the desk—simple, solid, and much nicer than foam or gel options. It has a clean, polished style that pairs well with a keyboard, and the non-slip base keeps it from sliding around. I wasn’t sure how I would like it compared to the soft cushy pad I used before, but it’s actually been pretty comfortable. The firmness gives steady support, and I haven’t found it too uncomfortable even after longer typing sessions. The one drawback is a spot where the finish has worn or dissolved. It wasn’t there when I first got it, so I suspect the coating isn’t as durable as I’d hoped. It doesn’t affect how it feels in use, but it does stand out on an otherwise sharp-looking piece. Overall, it’s a nice upgrade if you want a wooden wrist rest, just be aware the finish might not stay flawless over time.

Classy, Comfortable, and Built to Last!
I’ve never tried a wooden wrist rest before, but after going through a few padded ones (even some expensive name-brand versions) that eventually peeled or fell apart, I figured this was worth a shot. And I’m so glad I did! This walnut wrist rest is smooth, beautifully made, and looks amazing on my desk. I have a whitewashed office setup, but this piece looks so good that I half-joked about wanting to change my desk to match it! It adds a very clean, grown-up aesthetic to the space. One thing I really appreciated is that it comes in several sizes to suit different setups. I ordered the largest available, and while it’s just a couple inches shy of covering the full length of my keyboard, it still works perfectly. It has non-slip grips on the bottom that keep it in place, and even though it’s made of solid wood, it’s surprisingly comfortable and ergonomic to type with. It’s also super low-maintenance—just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. For the $26–$29 price range, I think it’s a fantastic value and honestly better than some of the big-name options I’ve tried. This is a quality piece I expect to hold up for a long time, and I’m really happy with it!!

Check the height of your keyboard before ordering
This is a beautifully made, elegant looking wrist rest. The finish is satin perfectly smooth to the touch. As keyboards vary in height, be sure to measure he height of the front edge of yours before ordering—I didn’t (which is entirely my fault) and found that this wrist rest is just a wee bit too tall, which positioned my wrists a tad higher than I’m used to. Another factor you may want to consider are the ergonomics of solid wood versus other materials and your personal preferences (e.g., I tend to prefer cloth covered gel, because he cloth keeps my wrists from sticking and the gel is cushioning). My closing thought: this wrist rest is that it is by far the best looking of any wrist rest I’ve ever seen.
