I was taking an afternoon stroll on Via Porta Rossa, watching out for Vespas and tourists on Vespas, when I spotted this in the window.

Displaying an immense amount of poise, I waited a full ten seconds before walking in without colliding with the woman who dashed in ahead of me.

 

Silk Polka Dot Column Dress (No. J7811). Lovely silk crepe de chine column dress in a vintage allover polka dot print. Bust-enhancing shirring complements the flattering waist yoke at front and back, made in a wonderful silk cotton blend. One faux horn button and two hook-and-eye closures at back neck. Four faux horn buttons at back waist. Light shoulder pads and shoulder pleating. Poly crepe de chine lining. Center front slit to knee. Lots of va-va-voom. Imported.
