Apex® Conform Men's Classic Oxford Dress Shoes provide support and protection for diabetic feet in a traditional lace-up style. Designed to limit stress at the areas of the foot most susceptible to pain, these dress shoes feature a 1/2” removable hidden depth in two layers for fitting flexibility, a high and wide toe box, and seamless conform foam lining that molds to the foot for a customized fit. Additional features include a genuine leather upper and a polyurethane midsole/outsole for long-lasting stability. Includes a removable Apex Conform orthotic for added support. Also recommended for those with bunions, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, or for those who need arch support, shock absorption, or removable insoles to accommodate orthotic inserts. Black. Available in Men’s sizes 6.5 to 16 in Medium, Wide, or X-Wide widths. Sold in pairs.

Awesome Boards….BUT the Smell!!!!

I’d love to give these 5 stars, they are heavy, well made, smooth, deep juice grooves, just nice….but the smell! I washed them, then used vinegar on them, set them outside over night, washed them again….its better but still present. I’d love some guidance on this. I’m hoping it goes away in a few days. It’s like a very strong woodsy smell that actually made my whole kitchen smell like these boards! Edit: Ok, here's what I did. Washed, let dry, coated and scrubbed with apple cider vinegar, set them in a high air flow area for 24 hours (I put mine outside on the patio over night), washed and scrubbed again, let dry, scrubbed with lemons and salt, let dry, washed again. Finally, there is still a slight smell if you push them against your nose but that seems to be fading as well. So, great boards if you want to go stubbornly go through the smell removal process. I don't think it's a chemical smell, I think it's processed bamboo that is shrink wrapped in air tight packaging too soon after manufacturing. Anyway, I'll move this to 4 stars....but lots of work involved here!
