Original Items: Only One Set Available. This uniform set is of great historical significance. Despite appearing to be a standard General's Class-A uniform set, there are a few distinctive features that set it apart from others. The uniform belonged to Ralph E. Haines Jr. The uniform itself is in excellent condition and boasts impressive bullion direct-embroidered General's stars, making it truly stand out.

This immaculately preserved service jacket and matching trousers bear the name of "R. Haines" on the inside tailor label, indicating that they were likely custom tailored for the General himself. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no visible signs of extensive wear or damage.

The jacket boasts several unique features that set it apart from other military jackets. The bullion embroidered General stars on the epaulets are particularly noteworthy, as they indicate the highest rank possible in the US Army and are just beautiful. A medal ribbon bar is also present on the jacket, which would have been used to display the General's various military honors and awards, which all appear to be correct and present.

A wonderful, historical uniform set that comes more than ready for further research and display.

Ralph E. Haines Jr.
Haines attended Texas Military Institute and graduated in 1930 as his class valedictorian. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1935 with a commission in the Cavalry. He later attended the Armed Forces Staff College, the Army War College, the National War College and the Army Management School. Prior to World War II he served in the Philippine Scouts and, during the war, he served in Italy.

Haines served as Commanding General of the 1st Armored Division at Fort Hood, Texas, from 1962 to 1963. He served as Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Force Development in Washington from 1963 to 1965. From 1965 to 1967, he commanded the III Corps. He was successively Acting Vice Chief of Staff and then Vice Chief of Staff for the United States Army and during this period he commanded the army forces assisting the suppression of the 1968 Washington, D.C. riots.  He then served as Commanding General, Continental Army Command, at Fort Monroe, Virginia, until his retirement on January 31, 1973.

Haines' awards include the Army Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star Medal.

The Ralph E. Haines Jr. Award, presented to the United States Army Reserve Drill Sergeant of the Year, is named in his honor. Haines was member of the Advisory Committee of the U.S. Cavalry Association. He retired to San Antonio, Texas, with his wife, the former Sally Swift, who died in 2003. Haines had two sons, both West Point alumni. One son, Palmer Swift Haines, died in an aircraft crash in 2004 when the Cessna 421 he was piloting suffered dual engine failure near Austin, Texas.

Haines died in November 2011 at the San Antonio Military Medical Center of natural causes.

Best for all chewers!
Color: Purple, Color: Purple
I purchased in February and waited until ive had them long enough to make a justified review. I have a very VERY aggressive chewer. He destroys every toy he gets within minutes or a hour. We didnt expect much out of these but why not. Let me tell you... they only have small teeth dents. No cracks, no breaks, no chunks missing, none in the trash, no bleeding gums... nothing. My chewer loves them. First day he just stared at them like they were alien objects but after we played fetch a few times it was on!! Now all three dogs chewer on them. I would say im purchasing again but I dont know when that will be lol I highly recommend to anyone!! Photo is taken today 6/4/26

My pit bull loves them.
Color: Purple
I picked up the Frienhund Tough Dog Toys 3-pack for my large, heavy chewer, and overall I’m pretty impressed. Right out of the box, the toys feel solid and well-made—definitely more durable than your average chew toy. My dog usually destroys new toys within a day or two, but these have held up significantly longer, which is a big win. They also do a great job of keeping him occupied. The shapes and textures seem to keep his interest, and I’ve noticed less destructive chewing on furniture since introducing these. That alone makes them worth it. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that while they’re very tough, they’re not completely “indestructible” (despite the claim). After a couple of weeks of heavy use, there are some visible wear marks. Still, compared to most other toys we’ve tried, these last much longer. Overall, a great option for medium to large dogs that are aggressive chewers—durable, engaging, and a solid value for a 3-pack.

Great Toys for Chewers
Color: Purple
Love these dog toys, they are so well-made and keep my Golden Retriever busy for hours. The variety of sizes is nice too, they aren’t heavy at all, but they sure hold their shapes , even with the constant chewing. The price was very reasonable, too.

Great product
Color: Purple, Color: Purple
My dogs loved these toys. Durable and apparently very coveted as my puppers “argued” over who got each one. Kept them playing and chewing for hours. Giving only 4 stars instead because I Wish the size was bigger because I have found that sometimes I don’t see it and stepping on it is Absolutely NO FUN.
