The Mayfair Dress is a jersey dream designed to carry you from office to cocktails, from beach to bar, or from sofa to fridge and back again(!) – it’s comfortable, elegant, supremely flattering and wonderfully versatile. With three sleeve lengths and a knee-length or maxi skirt option, this pattern has got all situations covered. Its relaxed fit and gently flowing lines create a winning combination of easy-to-wear and effortlessly stylish. Pair the maxi with sandals and a broad-brimmed hat in the summer; pair the knee-length with long sleeves and tights and boots to see you through the winter. Mayfair is for all occasions, all year!

The dress features an all-in-one grown-on collar and facing, set-in sleeves and a gathered waist at the centre-front, with an attached waist tie for tying at the back or front of the dress.

See through and jacket has no structure

On the positive side, it does appear to be well made. The stitching is clean, the fit is decent, and overall construction seems solid for the price. However, the material is extremely thin much thinner than expected. It’s so lightweight that it is see-through. Both the jacket and pants are unlined, which makes the suit feel even lighter and less structured. I While I understand seersucker is meant to be breathable and comfortable this isnt even seersucker it is a striped polyester blend material. It may work in very hot climates but if you’re looking for something with more structure or durability, this is not the best option. The fabric feels about as thick as a paper towel. Overall, decent construction, but the thinness and lack of a defined shape and lining are disappointing and makes it almost impossible to wear.
