60s babydoll dress 1960s Ivory Babydoll Minidress With Lace Appliqué – Very BreezyThis incredibly chic, unique vintage ivory babydoll dress makes for such a stunning vintage bridal option. This incredibly chic, unique vintage ivory babydoll dress makes for such a stunning vintage bridal option. Its singular silhouette, with a slight peacock train, reminds me of the dresses Cristóbal Balenciaga was known for in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Two box pleats on either side of the back create volume at the back hips, while the front has a relatively slimmer silhouette, with a fitted bodice that flares into an A-line shape. It was originally made in the 1960s, and lovingly restored and altered by me and my seamstress, making it completely one-of-a-kind. It is crafted from ivory duchesse satin, with lace appliqué and hand-embellished pearls and colorless beads. The sleeves are meant to be looser towards the top with a sort of dropped armhole and dropped shoulders, and pleats at the elbow, all of which is give it that distinct vintage midcentury flare. It features pointed cuffs, with pearl buttons all the way down the back and at the cuffs. The hem is sloped to be slightly shorter in the front, in keeping with that peacock train look. It would be very chic worn over pants or a skirt as a tunic as well.

Measurements: This will fit a range of sizes depending on desired fit, as it can be worn less fitted (as shown on model size X-Small). Will likely best fit a size Small and Medium but please refer to below measurements to be sure.
Shoulders: 17"
Chest: 36.5"
Empire waist: 30"
Hips are free
Sleeves: 23.5" from shoulder to longest point (pointed cuff)
Length: 32" from shoulder to longest point in the back; 28.25" from shoulder to very shortest front point; 24.75" down center front from neckline to hem (NOTE: hem could be let out about 1.5" if desired. It is shown on a model 5'10" so it will look less short on someone shorter).

Good vintage condition, with some minor wear commensurate with age, including some minor light scuffing to fabric and minor discoloration, which do not detract from the overall beauty and wearability of the dress, which presents beautifully. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email [email protected] for additional photos or measurements, as all sales are final.

An excellent and easy intro to Godot
Format: Kindle
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn the sleek, open-source game engine Godot. The engine has so many features but learning the interface and workings of a new engine can be intimidating. This book knocks down that barrier and takes you through learning the interface, in getting comfortable with creating 3d objects, creating a 3d terrain and setting up a maze. It includes a link to resources to get you started. It is a good, basic intro and I'm looking forward to learning more.

The book is missing page 60 in the Kindle edition
Format: Kindle
I actually think the book is really good. I also like the way the content is divided into several books to make the cost of each book inexpensive. However, the Kindle edition that I purchases is missing page 60. I don't know if this was intentional or an oversight. I really want to give the book 4 or 5 stars. I gave it one in hopes of getting someone's attention. I will update this review and change the number of stars once I get an answer about page 60.

Perfect for beginners to explore with a minimum investment if making video games is for you
Format: Kindle
As an absolute beginner I found the book perfect for anyone that wants to explore the making of video games without having to studying lot of software programming. Prior to this I also read the similar book on Unity and found that for an absolute beginner this is perhaps a more gentle introduction. Godot seems to be at this level simpler than Unity as all the necessary elements to make a meaningful game are self contained. Patrick is an excellent teacher and drives you step by step to the point where you would be able to create on your own a multi scene 3D environment. Just getting there is very satisfying as I was able to surprise friends and family on my new acquired skill. Clearly after tasting what you can do with this book you must commit to some level of learning of software and this is where you need to ask yourself if your "exploration" is over or you are so thrilled you want to become a pro. This is entirely up to you, Patrick has shown you the way with a minimum investment of time and money, good luck whatever you decide to do.

Good introduction, but outdated now with Godot 4
Format: Kindle
It was a great introduction to Godot 3, but now after Godot 4 is out, the water plugin doesn’t work anymore used in the book.

Good, but only for complete beginners who haven’t seen the tutorials on the Godot website
Format: Kindle
Skippable with free tutorials found on the web both from official and unofficial resources. A good starting block for those who are completely new to the concept and want to get started with Godot.
