New York had a lot of buildings.
Many of them were weird.
And art. This is a giant steel balloon flower. Kerri thought that was obvious, but Matt didn’t believe her.
This is also art. Having a bunch of plastic chairs in a park would normally be very nice and comfortable. But it was art, so they were behind a fence.
This is both a building and art.
The 9/11 memorial is less tacky than it sounds in the tour books. Plus the rushing water drowns out the sound of all the tour guides.
We took the Staten Island Ferry out to Staten Island.
There isn’t anything on Staten Island, we just wanted to see the Statue of Liberty.
She is big.

This is Brooklyn. The shiny buildings make it look like it’s on fire.
