Promise ~ Folklore Maxi! 🌈

Woven from the colors of hope, Promise is more than a rainbow gingham. It is a tender tribute to the faithfulness of God and the sacred journey of motherhood after loss. 🙏

Each vibrant square whispers a story: of rain clouds endured, of tears sown in sorrow, of joy blooming anew. 🌱

For every mother of a rainbow baby, this print is a gentle reminder of God’s covenant. Just as He placed the bow in the sky after the flood, He sees, He remembers, He restores. 🌈

The radiant hues mirror the beauty that follows the storm, the laughter that returns after the mourning, the miracle that comes after the waiting. ✨️

And to the dear mamas still waiting for a rainbow, or those whose arms may never hold one on this side of heaven, may your heart be gently wrapped in the quiet truth that God’s promises are not always what we expect, but they are always faithful. ❣️

🌈There is the promise of reunion. The tender hope that one day, you will hold your precious little one in a place where no tears ever fall. 🌟
🌈There is the promise of comfort. Deep and mysterious, a peace that passes all understanding and meets you right in the ache. 🫂
🌈And there is the promise of love. Unshakable, personal, and everlasting. A God who sees you, knows you, and walks with you in every step of your story. 🤗

Promise wraps you in more than color. It wraps you in a testimony of grace, of healing, of love that never lets go. A celebration of life. A remembrance of loss. A symbol of His unshakable promise: there will be rainbows after the rain. ⛈️🌈🙏

The Trans Issue
Format: Paperback
I couldn't give a higher rating because of the writer pushing trans issue in sports. All for anyone in sports however, when it is man to woman the deck is stacked. Not to mention they are on hormones , which is a drug. Any questions: US had a trans win gold in track and Canada won bronze in soccer, how do you think those women felt. IMO this is just the beginning, what do they need natural born women for. It's so wrong on so many levels for women. I You tubed it and MEN are speaking up for women, why aren't we doing it for ourselves. Back to the book in question, I'm just not objective enough to say more.

The strength of women and their strength of character
Format: Kindle
Willa and Sage began an unconventional relationship yet completed their journey in love. I loved the characters and plot of this book. I was inspired by Sage’s strength to defend Willa from the jabs of an aggressive friend, Ava. It was wonderful watching Ava grow even though she was a secondary character. That Sage remembered Rebecca’s plight and commit herself to a legacy of providing soccer camps for girls and trans players was incredible. A truly inspiring story. I heartily recommend this book and any others by this author. I love the way she writes and how she allows us to tag along with the journeys of her well developed characters and plot. I’m looking forward to more of her works. Thank you Peace

Poetry, Lyric, and the Mind of a Scholar
Format: Paperback
The first essay on the lyric is necessary reading for any poet. The whole book is excellent reading, often on the Appalachian writers. Excellent resource for scholars and casual readers. Highly recommend. Somehow the essays are both intimate and deeply theoretical. Powerful display of Jesse Grave's scope of thinking.

What is poetry?
Format: Paperback
I have been an avid reader of nearly every genre of written creativity except for poetry. Other than the rhythmic beautiful descriptions in certain pieces, the heart and soul of poetry has always escaped me. This book moved me closer to discovering and understanding that beat. It has a heavy focus on the Appalachian region, and taught me the deep purpose of cadence and the beauty of the simplicity found in that. Some of the poems are dark, some not so much. I really enjoyed this book and it showed me on a more personal level why poetry should be read and appreciated. Graves work is a treasure.

So readable!
Format: Paperback
I devoured this book in one day, and I’m very glad I didn’t read reviews first. Go in blind if you can—the jacket gives just enough and nothing more. At first, it feels like a story about control. Dannie—who has planned every detail of her life—has everything working exactly as intended. Until one night she falls asleep and spends an hour five years in the future. It doesn’t feel like a dream. It feels like inhabiting a premonition—something real, physical, and undeniable. When she wakes up, everything shifts. The story moves from careful planning to knowing—and not being able to change what’s coming. It’s not the story you think it will be. But it is a very good love story. What I appreciated most is how it explores what love actually asks of us, without dressing it up or making it easy. It’s a quick read, but it lingers. And somehow, I’m not even mad at the author for taking me on an unexpected journey.
