Originating from Mexico, these Black Pearl shaped vegetables are similar to the Black Pearl Hot Pepper, yet cross bred with more variation. The peppers begin as a deep dark Purple/Black shade. As they age, Princes grow a hinted hue of Green before ripening Red (if you are familiar with the Black Pearl and/or Count Dracula Peppers expect a similar lifecycle and pace of change in color).
