| Position | Best in bright, indirect light. It will appreciate a well-lit room out of harsh direct sun, which can mark the foliage. Keep it away from deep shade for the best colour and growth. |
| Temperature | Prefers warm indoor conditions, ideally around 18–26°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid letting it sit in temperatures below about 15°C. |
| Water | Water when the top layer of the potting mix has started to dry. Keep the mix lightly moist but never soggy, and be a little more restrained in cooler months. |
