The Uppababy Mesa i-Size car seat in Emmett is perfect for newborns and young babies up to approximately 14 months, and can be easily installed into your vehicle using the Mesa ISOFIX Base. As an i-Size car seat, the Uppababy Mesa is designed to be used rear-facing for its entire life, up until your little one reaches 13 kg, and features energy absorbing memory and EPP (Expanding Polypropylene) foam to deliver superior side-impact protection.

To ensure your baby is both safe and comfortable on the road, the Uppababy Mesa i-Size comes with a lightly perforated shell, lined with breathable mesh and foam which not only protect your infant, but also allow for optimum airflow to keep your tot cool when traveling during the summer.

To make it easier for you to keep your new baby secure in their seat as they grow, the Uppababy Mesa features a no re-thread 3-point harness and headrest, allowing you to easily adjust the straps and headrest height with complete ease. To ensure their delicate skin is sheltered from all kinds of weather, the Mesa comes with an extra-large extendable sun canopy that features UPF 25+ protection from the sun's rays.

The Mesa i-Size infant carrier can be used with the Uppababy Vista or Cruz strollers to create a complete travel system, allowing you to go from the car to the street and back again without waking your baby, and best of all there's no need to purchase additional adaptors; simply click and go! To release seamlessly from your pushchair with minimum disruption, there is a quick, one-press release button that pops your Mesa off the stroller in one go with no hassle.

The Uppababy Mesa i-Size infant car seat can also be used with Uppababy Minu strollers, however additional adaptors are required (sold separately).

Mesa ISOFIX Base

The Mesa i-Size ISOFIX Base is designed for use with your Mesa i-Size infant car seat, ensuring a strong and sturdy connection between your little one and the vehicle. The Mesa ISOFIX Base features a SmartSecure System, which is an electronic indicator panel that guides you through the installation process by highlighting 5 easy steps, each of which will turn from red to green when completed correctly.

Correctly fitting your ISOFIX base is paramount in ensuring that it functions correctly in the event of a collision. The Mesa ISOFIX Base ensures that the base is securely attached at the ISOFIX ports, as well as confirming that the base is level and the seat is correctly connected. The Mesa ISOFIX Base makes for a quick and easy installation first time, every time.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
