Senecio scaposus is a striking succulent known for its upright, cylindrical leaves that are densely covered in a silvery-white, felt-like coating, giving the plant a soft, almost frosted appearance. Native to South Africa, it thrives in bright light and well-draining soil, requiring minimal watering and making it an excellent choice for drought-tolerant plant collections. Under the right conditions, it can produce small, yellow, daisy-like flowers that rise above the foliage on slender stems. Despite its appealing look, Senecio scaposus is considered toxic to pets such as cats and dogs if ingested, so it should be kept out of reach of animals to prevent potential harm.
