Nearly everything is interchangeable so with over 30 limb options and so many more ways to customize your Monster, you can make a unique creature every time you return to this book.
With more than 35 Monster body options, plus myriad variations for limbs, mouths and teeth, horns, antennae, tails, scales, and so much more, you will never make the same Monster twice. Choose from wide-open mouths with fangs to adorable Monsters with bunny ears and a cat tail to Monsters with hair poufs and scales. Make one-eyed spiders or three-eyed aliens, dragons with scales or little friends that don’t match any known monster to date. There is nearly no limit to the variations you can combine!
All Monsters use worsted weight and/or sport weight yarn and a size G-6 (4 mm) hook. Patterns are appropriate for beginner through advanced crocheters. If a stitch is new to you, just turn to the Glossary for detailed instructions on how to work it. Photos are included for each pattern piece and any complex stitches so you can be sure you are on the right track as you work.

Megan Lapp of Crafty Intentions has been creating crochet creatures from her imagination since 2017, and has amassed thousands of fans who just can't wait for her next exciting design. Megan’s background is in the Fine Arts, having graduated with honors from Lafayette College with a double major in Art and Music. Most of her artwork was three-dimensional in nature, but while she could always envision what she wanted to make, she could never get it to turn out quite the way she saw it in her head—until she discovered crochet! With crochet, she was suddenly able to create exactly what she wanted, and with time was able to translate her ideas into patterns for others to follow, and Crafty Intentions was born. First time using retinol and I love it!!!
I tried retinol for the first time after my friend told me how good it was. Honestly, I was a bit scared at first because I heard it can be harsh. My skin got a little dry in the beginning, but it wasn’t too bad.

Gentle Retinoid Cream – Lightweight, Smoothing, Good for Sensitive Skin & Beginners
This is one of those products that feels like a very approachable way to incorporate a retinoid into your routine without immediately dealing with the harsher side effects people often expect. I’ve been using it consistently at night, and what stood out to me first is how lightweight and comfortable the texture is. It leans more toward a thin cream-serum than a heavy treatment, so it spreads easily and doesn’t feel overwhelming on the skin.
My skin is normal but leans dehydrated with some sensitivity, especially around the eye area, so I’m always cautious with anything in this category. This layers in very smoothly and absorbs quickly without leaving behind any greasy or sticky feel. It sits well under moisturizer and doesn’t pill, which makes it easy to slot into an existing nighttime routine.

lightweight, effective, and easy to try
I started using this on under eye dark spots after a friend recommended it. The texture is lightweight, non sticky, and absorbs smoothly. The price is very reasonable, making it great for trying out. Satisfied…..
I never thought I’d be interested in products like this, but as I’ve gotten older, I realized I need something with stronger effects than what I used before. I happened to come across this product while searching, and after trying it, I feel it’s quite good for the price. Of course, skin that has been damaged over many years can’t be fully restored by just one product, but I’m satisfied with even the slight improvements I’ve noticed.
