- Orientation: Place the "eyes" (growth buds) facing upward.
- Startup: Keep the pot in a warm, cozy spot to encourage sprouting, which usually begins within 3–6 weeks.
Growing Outdoors
- Spacing: Space tubers 20–30 cm apart for a dense, overlapping display.
- Depth: Bury the tuber 5 cm deep in loosened, organic-rich soil.
- Winter Care: Once temperatures dip below 10°C in autumn, the plant will enter dormancy. Lift the tubers and store them in a cool, dry, frost-free place until the next spring.
