- Details: Brilliantly Colored California Poppy Brilliant Mixture Seed Packet. These are old stone lithographs done by Schmidt Litho Company in San Francisco. The beautiful images on the envelopes were printed in the 1940's with price and descriptions left blank. The pricing and descriptions were added to these in the 1950's. The colors are unbelievable beautiful. We also offer 4 seed packets of your choice, mounted in country/farmhouse aesthetic wood frames, (SEE PICTURES). - Condition: Vintage - New Old Stock. Excellent Condition. These packets were intended to be filled with seed but were never used. There is slight yellowing on the paper but that is consistent with its age. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are Not new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
Lone Star Seed Co in San Antonio TX was founded in 1920 by two brothers from Syracuse, NY, Paul W. Roberts and Roland C. Roberts. The original intention was to be a wholesale seed business, this was one of the last companies to enter the retail seed market. They are still in operation today.

Great everyday polo

I picked up the U.S. Polo Assn. Men’s Classic Two-Button Pique Polo as a casual summer and golf shirt and ended up wearing it far more than I expected. The fit is true to size with a comfortable classic cut that isn’t too slim or baggy, and the lightweight pique cotton feels breathable and perfect for warm weather, whether you’re on the course or just running errands. For the price, the quality really surprised me—the fabric feels durable yet soft, the collar keeps its shape after washing, and the stitching looks solid without feeling cheap. The style is simple and versatile, easy to pair with jeans, shorts, or chinos, and the logo is noticeable but not over the top. After several washes there’s been no major shrinking or fading, especially when washed cold and air dried. Overall, this is an affordable, comfortable, and reliable polo that looks good and holds up well, and I’ll definitely be buying more colors.

Decent Look, But Sizing and Shrinkage Are Dealbreakers

The shirt feels alright and seems to hold up after regular washing. That said, it shrinks noticeably, and the sizing already feels off to begin with.

It’s wearable, but nothing exceptional. The fabric is fine for casual use, but the sizing was a big issue—I usually wear a medium, and this felt like an extra small. I even passed it on to someone smaller than me and they found it tight too.
