The Calathea Ornata Prayer Plant pink pinstripe is a stunning herbaceous perennial. Its dark green leaves are striped with pink, earning it the nickname of ‘Pinstripe Plant’. The underside of each leaf is purple, which is a striking contrast to the patterned top. It can be tricky to look after as it needs the perfect balance of indirect lighting and humidity so best for those with a green thumb.

Originating from the tropical rain forests of South America, this plant is perfect for growing in a pot in your living space. It can spread outwards to between 6 inches and 2 feet wide and can grow to 6 inches and 3 feet in height.

Your Calathea Ornata is happiest when planted in moist soil that is well-draining and has an acidic pH. It prefers bright, indirect sunlight and needs a humid environment so use our Plant Mister to keep its surroundings moist.

This evergreen beauty adds oxygen to the air, which enhances your wellbeing. With such aesthetic appeal, the Calathea Ornata is the perfect plant to choose as live décor for your home. It will complement any space you place it in and you can enjoy many satisfying moments as you watch it grow.

  • Nursery Pot - Standard plastic 4-inch or 6-inch planter pot that can be placed inside a larger pot or left as is until it outgrows it.
  • Selene Planter - Ceramic 6.5" marble planter with drainage hole and matching rose gold ceramic tray. The planter measures: 7.5" x 6.5" x 6.5" and weighs approximately 3.7 lbs. We recommend placing your plant in the nursery pot inside it to make it easy to water and transplant.

I really love Nedra Glover Tawwab's work. I started with "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and that opened the gateway to a broader and more helpful healing journey for me. This book, "Drama Fee" was just an evolutionary step in her series and a more in depth dealing with family relationships. The different perspectives for each chapter on how the concept can be applied was/is helpful as it often feels like books of this nature are only telling the black or white way to focus on a relationship. I felt seen and heard that though my familial relationships are unique there are commonalities and in turn ways to approach healing, reconciliation (with oneself and with family), understanding and compassion, to a achieve drama free relationships. Read this book if you have a dysfunctional family or relationship with family members (including in-laws and extended family). Read this book if you think you don’t. Nedra outlines several different types of familial relationships and how challenging it can be to work through dysfunction or things we have considered normal that are not. Nedra also provides wisdom and tools on how to overcome the many challenges that occur in relationships with family members with gentleness, understanding and realistic observations and advice.
