Crassula lactea are part of the Crassulaceae family and are native to South Africa. They are trailing plants, and their leaves are green. They can grow up to 12 inches in height. There can be white flowers that appear in the winter.

These plants are easy to care for, so they’re great for beginners.

Care Tips

Light: They need full sunlight to grow.

Water: Water them when you see the soil dry.

Soil: It’s best to use well-drained soil. Generally, we choose a soil with a large proportion of granular matter and less peat soil.

Potting: It is recommended to use ceramic pots. Ceramic pots have a certain degree of permeability. Clay pots lose water too quickly, and plastic pots tend to retain water for too long and permeability is poor.

Temperature: They prefer a warm growing environment, and the most suitable temperature is 64-77°F (18-25°C).

Humidity: They grow well in average household humidity levels when grown indoors. Normal household humidity is good for this plant.

    Care Instructions

Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.

Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.

    Excellent book
    Format: Paperback
My grandson is seven and he does not like to read but with these books he is eager to read and find out what is happening in the next chapter. These books are more on the comic book format and they are really fun to read. I like them almost as much as my grandson.

2nd grade son's favorite book of all time!
    Format: Paperback
So this is not classic children's literature with beautifully written passages a la The Velveteen Rabbit. This IS, however, the only book my 7 year old son has read repeatedly (6 times?) and BEGGED me to buy so that we would have our own copy when it was time to return it to the library. Santa brought him 3 gifts this year- a Cozmo robot, a drone, and this book- they were all displayed together. Guess which one elicited the first scream? "Sparks!!! Santa brought me Sparks!!!" This comic book is not Shakespeare for children but the story is creative and FUNNY, the illustrations are great, and boy does it keep my kids' attention (my 4th grade daughter also loves it, though not to the obsessive extent of my boy). Get it- your child will love it. This is not a book for YOU to read aloud- this is for the child to read on his/her own. So when The Wind in the Willows has them yawning, hand them this instead.
