During the warm summer months, Sempervivum Chick Charms® 'Gold Nugget' is a fresh, lime-green color. It is during the colder months of winter into early spring that 'Gold Nugget' becomes the star of the rock garden. As the weather turns chilly, the rosettes begin to turn yellow. From late winter into early spring, 'Gold Nugget' glows a brilliant gold color, with each leaf tipped with electric orangy-red. To see Sempervivum Chick Charms® 'Gold Nugget' in its full neon glory is definitely an OMG experience!! Like the Hen & Chicks you're familiar with, Sempervivum Chick Charms® 'Gold Nugget' is easy to grow in a sunny spot with average, well drained soil. Excellent in hot, dry situations and perfect in rock gardens, troughs, vertical gardens, and succulent container gardens.
