Sweet lavender is early blooming, beginning in mid spring, and will bloom through the fall. In protected areas such as near a house or fence,the bloom will continue throughout the winter The fragrance of this lavender is slightly different than most, lemony/lavender fragrance, with undertones of pine. Flowers are deep violet, with green calyces. It does not dry well, but is a nice fresh cut flowers, with long 15 inch stems.
Although the common name is sweet lavender, the flavor is very harsh and heavy, and is not recommended for cooking. In a pinch flowering stems can be used for lavender wands.

Great shoe, comfort

Love these shoes, they're super comfy. Laces stayed tied all day. I wear them in a business casual environment, or if I'm going out for a nice meal with my wife.
