There are two facing mesh to let good vent. It does not fog most of time. For your reference, if you sprayed water, the waterdrops disappears quickly.

The with base option: It can hold water. Please use a long mouth bottle to water. It does not leak. so you can plant moss and ferns easily.

nice to look at
HOWEVER missing 2 stars for...
they are small and plugging in items such as my laptop cord made it bulky and always in my way.
if there was a middle shelf that would help with the small tops
if the outlet bar was on the side or under the top that would help with the bulky cord issue
