Potted Bromeliad Neoregelia - Rooted Mother

These are not just tiny offsets that have no root base, these are established adults that are perfect for terrariums that stay a manageable size.

*The plant pictured is not necessarily the plant you will receive, but will be same size and shape*

Common Name: Neoregelia Bromeliad, Blushing Bromeliad

Scientific Name: Neoregelia cvs.

-Care Recommendations By The Dude-

Best for These Animals: Frogs, especially arboreal (tree-dwelling) ones.  Also great for other small amphibians and reptiles, especially arboreal (tree-dwelling) ones.

Bio Dude Substrates: TerraFlora, TerraFauna, some TerraFirma, depending on humidity levels.

Soil Depth: Shallow to moderate with proper drainage.

Lighting: Most light levels suitable-- Higher light will promote brighter coloration.

Humidity & Misting: 40%-100% *Higher humidity preferred, but can tolerate low humidity.

Mature Plant Size & Root System: Bromeliad Neoregelia stay low and grow wider with age, sending out shoots with "pups" or offsets that will eventually grow to full-sized plants, blooming at the center of the plant! These pups can be separated once mature, if desired. It has a shallow fibrous root system, mostly used for anchorage rather than water absorption, as this plant mainly uptakes nutrients by being watered into the center of the plant, allowing the water to flow down into the "tanks" between the leaves of the bromeliad.

Temperature Tolerance & Placement in the Terrarium: High temperature tolerant, and can be somewhat drought tolerant when established.  It can be used as a front (low) placement or mounted (in high humidity environments).

Edible & Side Effects if Ingested: Non-toxic if consumed, though these are typically used for ornamental, not edible, purposes.

Pot Size & Packaging: A single 6" potted bromeliad Neoregelia is shipped in the pot, wrapped in paper.

Great toy for small dogs
Size: Small Size
Our dog, who weighs 13 lbs, loves this ball. I like the fact that there are no batteries involved. The furry exterior is great for her as she can pick the ball up with her small mouth. I'd recommend this toy be used under supervision as larger dogs and heavy chewers could tear it apart quickly.

Not as soft as it looks
It’s like a hard ball with fur covering. My dogs want to play with it, but have a hard time picking it up. Sounds cool, tho! I wish it was more like a stuffed ball they could easily pick up and throw around

Would buy again
Size: Small Size
Puppy loves this ball. She managed to tear the fuzzy part open fairly quickly but once it was all the way torn the ball inside that makes the noise is as pictured and she can still play with it regardless of the fuzzy part being taken off. Easy to keep track of as it's a tad bigger than a softball. Puppy loves it and it keeps her entertained.
