Description

papua plant indoor Hydnophytum papuanum "Ant Plant"Hydnophytum papuanum "Ant Plant", commonly referred to as "Maze Plant" after its corridor system inside the caudex (swollen trunk). In its native habitat they live in symbiosis with ants, providing them with a home in exchange for nutrients from their excrement and in turn the ants defend the plant against any threats from pests and predators! [As a Note, that doesn't mean they attract ants! That is just how they live in the wild.] Hydnophytum

Hydnophytum papuanum "Ant Plant", commonly referred to as "Maze Plant" after its corridor system inside the caudex (swollen trunk). In its native habitat they live in symbiosis with ants, providing them with a home in exchange for nutrients from their excrement and in turn the ants defend the plant against any threats from pests and predators! [As a Note, that doesn't mean they attract ants! That is just how they live in the wild.]

Hydnophytum papuanum as a species has been combined with and is now technically known as Hydnophytum moseleyanum.

Loves high humidity, where it can draw moisture from the air. Grows best when watered regularly, soil should be kept slightly damp, never wet as it is susceptible to rot. Indirect bright light is preferable, will tolerate lower light levels but growth will be much slower.  Since there are no ants to deposit excrement inside the tuber, fertilize during the growing season with a liquid houseplant fertilizer.

Basic, Profound, and Thorough
Format: Paperback
I'm a deliverance minister and walk people through forgiveness exercises on a regular basis because of the spiritual freedom that comes with forgiveness. This book is basic but very thorough and covers all the high-level points on the importance of forgiveness without getting into the weeds. Book is thin; not overwhelming to non-readers.

Excellent book!
This is the best book on forgiveness that I’ve ever read. Only read this if you are serious about working through unforgiveness and bitterness. I learned that it is okay to have boundaries and limitations, but first you must forgive.
