It works both through contact action (killing weeds already up) and residual soil activity (preventing further weed establishment), giving longer-lasting protection. It’s flexible , usable pre-emergence, post-emergence, and for direct sown rice; and it’s not prone to volatilization, so less risk to nearby crops.
