Zantedeschia aethiopica White Giant/Hercules (Arum Lily, Calla Lily)
Introducing the Zantedeschia aethiopica White Giant/Hercules, also known as the Giant Arum Lily or Calla Lily. This unique variety is often confused with Zantedeschia Hercules, but our White Giant has distinct white spots on its leaves and is the largest of its kind. It is not widely available in the UK, making it a rare and special addition to any garden.
Native to South Africa, this perennial can reach a staggering height of 6ft in a single season when given the right conditions - plenty of feed, warmth, and moisture. Our nursery in Somerset, South West United Kingdom, has propagated these plants to ensure their quality and availability.
While hardy, this Zantedeschia may experience frost damage to its leaves during winter. Simply trim back the foliage after the last frosts and new shoots will emerge from the ground. For optimal growth and flowering, plant in a sheltered spot with loamy soil and protect during cold periods.
- Height: Easily maintained to 1.5m, Flowering Stems up to 2m
- Spread: Easily maintained to 1m
- Foliage Colour: Green with white spots, large leaves

- Soil Type: Moist, boggy, loam, chalk, thrives in moist conditions
