The key is getting the exact dosage for you because we are not all the same. For example: I always take two. Very rarely I need one more, how do I know? Well, if I can't get to sleep within a reasonable amount of time I will take a third. Now, if I do this a couple of days in a row I start to wake up a little tired in the morning. Now I know I have too much melatonin in me so I may not take it the following night at all until my own body tells me it needs it.
