Dog Rose is a native British species that has been put to a myriad of uses for millennia. The flesh of rose hips contain high levels of antioxidants, mainly polyphenols and ascorbic acid, as well as carotenoids and vitamins B and E. Rose hips contain a high amount of carotenoids and ascorbic acid along with natural sugars, organic acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, phenolics, and essential oil, making them excellent for consumption. Rose hip essential oil is composed mainly of alcohols, monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes. The fruit is noted for its high level of vitamin C, and is used to make syrup, tea, and most commonly Rose Hip Jelly. It has been grown or encouraged in the wild for the production of vitamin C from its fruit (often as rose-hip syrup), especially during conditions of scarcity or during wartime.

Sowing Guide

As a native British plant that can survives very colt winters, hawthorn seeds require a period of cold stratification for optimal germination - this is natures way of stopping seeds germinating at the worng time of year, eg the autumn and being killed by frost/snow before can get established. Thanks to fridges we can "trick" such seeds into thinking that winter has passed and now its time to wake up!

  • If buying in the Autumn/Fall, place the seeds in a small ziplock bag along with some slightly damp potting compost and place in the fridge for at least 2 months, or longer until sowing time of around February. If buying seeds in Spring, you will need to keep them chilled in the fridge (or just place in a pot in a cold part of garden and lt nature take its course) until the following February.
  • Prepare pots or seed trays of a well-draining compost mix - ideally 50/50 compost and vermiculite mix
  • Sow  evenly spaced on surface and cover with approx 4mm of compos. Firm gently and water. carefully using a rose to avoid disturbance
  • Ensure compost kept moist but not wet - best to water from the bottom.
  • Seedling should appear in around 6 weeks
  • Pot on once have several sets of true leaves

Nice for the price
Size: Medium, Color: B004
I really like the LALESTE Women’s Boyshort Underwear overall! They’re super comfortable, soft, and have great full coverage—perfect for everyday wear. The material feels stretchy and smooth, and they stay in place without digging in or riding up. Definitely a solid option if you like a more covered, secure fit. My only downside is that they are a bit too high-rise for my personal preference. They come up higher than I expected, so if you prefer a lower-rise fit, just keep that in mind. Other than that, the quality and comfort are great, and I still find myself reaching for them often!

Soft but easily rolls down
Size: X-Large, Color: B004
Comfortable and soft but it kept sliding down, I have a longer torso so that could be why, but I couldn’t get it to stay up, it would constantly roll into my C-section scar
